Vulvitis

Vulvitis

I've seen my gynocologist 3 times for this problem over a 2  month span. My systems the first time was a feeling of inflammation around the vulva and some aching in my labia. When I explored this area there was no pain when I touched it. There was no discharge, odor, or itching. My dr. said it could be perimenopausal symtoms (symptoms). I am 46 and she gave me a cream for itching. This did not work and my symtoms (symptoms) got worse. The second time I saw her she gave me an antifungal cream, again this did not work and my symtoms (symptoms) got worse. More inflammation over a larger area of my vulva. The third time I saw her she gave me estrogen cream and anti-depressants. When I went to the office I wasn't depressed. When I left the office I was depressed. She made me feel as if I were crazy and her prescriptions did not work. Well now the inflammation has traveled to my rectum and I feel irritation between my legs and my butt cheeks. Could this be vulvitis and how I can I treat it.
