WHITE BLISTERS ON HANDS

My husband has white blisters on his palms that come and go. He says they are not painful nor itchy and we are aware it is the result of his job description-  his hands work vigoriously with chemicals and are constantly wet... As they tend to dissapear after the ''required time'' before having to see a doctor, i was wondering if in time with this basically being an allergic reaction everytime, is this going to cause some deep dermicalogical unrepairable damage when he is older....?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Since your husband is working with chemicals, it sounds like contact dermatitis. Ask your husband to wear gloves while working with chemicals and wash his hands with plenty of fresh water after contact with chemicals. He can also take antihistaminics like Benadryl or Claritin and apply calamine lotion on the rashes. If the symptoms persist then topical and oral steroids may be needed for which a dermatologist’s consultation is required.

I hope this helps Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or fi you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
