I feel like its going to eat my nail away and it doesnt look great. im tired of cutting it with a nail cliper. does anyone know of a research company that handles that sort of a problem. I need help.
"pack" on it? This is a tablet of aspirin, softened with a bit of water to form a paste, and then applied to your wart with a bandaid holding it on during the day. The acetecylic acid kills the wart down to the root. I'm not sure how long it takes -probably a couple of weeks, but I've heard other people who have used this with success...~MM
I have a stubborn wart like that too. Its on the side of my finger and has been there for 36 years!! I have also tried all the procedures etc to no success. I joke that the root goes up to my wrist.
Hello,
Warts on the nail and subungual warts are the toughest to treat. You can apply duct tapes on the wart and if it still persists then you can get it treated by laser. Carbon dioxide laser treatment had a cure rate of 57.4%. It was proven to be better than Cryotherapy and Electrocautery treatment. Although CO2 laser treatment is effective in eradicating sumbungual and periungual warts, recurrences still occur within 3 months of vaporization.
Please consult a dermatologist and discuss these treatment options with him.
