Wart under fingernail won't go away

I am in desperation about my fingernail being lifted by a wart (that is what my doctor believes it is). I have had tests done to make sure its not a fungus. For a year now I have been battling it with liquid nitrogen freezes, squaric acid, and cantharidin "blister beetle juice".  After over a dozen treatments and the last attempt using cantharidin, I can't bear the pain again. My husband had this on all fingers on one hand.He was prescribed Lamisil tablets from a doctor.He was healed up in abou 4 months.Its been 6 years now and they have never come back.
