Warts Transmission

by Joshua88, Jul 08, 2007 12:00AM
Can Someone Transmit their hand warts to their own genitals?
Can Someone Transmit their genital warts to their own hands?

Or are they 2 different virus?
I've had have genital warts... and I'm in the wait and observe stage... and it seems to be clearing up... a week before... it seems that im developing warts in my hands... my concern is, maybe i acquired my hand warts from my genitals and is afraid that i might contract my present hand warts back to my genitals again.

I hate to have a "Ping Pong" effect regarding my condition.

Thanks in advance for clearing some things up for me.

No, they can't.  Otherwise we would all be covered with warts.  If you think you have genital warts, you shouldn't be in the 'wait and observe stage,' because there isn't one.  I wonder whether you have warts in either place, genitals or hands, but I think you owe to to yourself to get yourself examined so you'll know for sure, and get treatment if you need it.  But you can't spread warts from the genitals elsewhere, or vice versa.

Take care.
