Hi,
I am not familiar with this preparation. I would suggest that you discuss this with your primary physician. For common warts (warts that appear in other areas of the body aside from genitals) , preparations containing salicylic acid and tretinoin may be used repeatedly over the warts. You do need a physician to guide you with this as these medications are abrasive and may irritate otherwise normal skin.
Preperation H shrinks hemmoroids and genitial warts. I was just curious if it would shrink or get rid of the others.Thankyou for your advice.

Hi,
The common wart and flat warts may occur on any surface of the body. They may appear as grouped and numerous lesions (allow me to call them lesions). For numerous lesions, topical medications alone may not suffice. You may need cryotherapy using liquid nitrogen or laser therapy to remove the warts.
For some, repeated sessions of wart removal using curettage or electrodessication may be helpful although some degree of scarring may occur .You may discuss with your physician the use of topical medications such as those containing salicylic acid and retin A. They may be helpful when applied to the wart several times a day. However, it is best that you inform your physician about this. These medications may be irritating to normal skin.
Would you elaborate on preparation H (is this correct)?
