Weird, red, itchy, rash all over.

I recently got some sort of odd rash. I woke up this morning after being in the ER last night- I was being treated for Pneumonia, at first I thought I was having a reaction to the Antibiotics and would tell my dad when he got home. But just in case I decided to do a little research of my own. And there are some scary things I fear I may have. Like Scabies. But I don't think I match EXACTLY. The rash is on my legs, arms, neck and chin, and a tiny bit just above my belly-button. It's also on the top of my feet and the sides of my ankles. The rash- or whatever it is- is itchy red sections, inside the red sections and some tiny bites that are white, like small mosquito bites.

*Had to get an antibiotic shot in her butt:P

From the symptoms it can be a viral rash or an allergic reaction to the medicines that you are taking for pneumonia. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps. If the symptoms persist then steroids may be needed. You have to consult a dermatologist in that case.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
