I have a sore on the base of my penis (had it for 1 week now and it seems to be getting bigger...)

See attached picture.

I think it is just a graze but can't be sure and I am worried it maybe more serious like syphilis

Please can somebody help?

For this kind of sore which has appeared suddenly without any prior trauma, definitely I would suggest a dermatologist’s opinion to rule out any syphilis. The lesion of primary syphilis includes chancre which is a painless skin ulceration localized at the point of initial exposure to the spirochete.

Exactly what it is can be confirmed only after examination, blood tests, VDRL test and biopsy. I suggest you to consult a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
