Over the last, I'd say 2 months, I've gotten these weird bumps on my inner thigh, all the way down to my butt. It goes along the inside of my legs. It seems to be kinda like bumps you get after shaving, but they don't go away. I shaved again this morning, and it got worse. However, before this morning I hadn't shaved for like a week and a half and it was still bad. These bumps finally really concerned me today because there are a lot more than there have been and I'm scared that I might have something.
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough, but it sounds like folliculitis or boils. Folliculitis is the inflammation of one or more hair follicles.
Please keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.
I hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
