What can I do for my Mosquito Bitten 14 month old?

Hello, a couple of weeks ago my 14 month old was bitten Nemours times on her face, arms and feet while sleeping. I’m guessing it was from a mosquito since I’m unable to find any other insects in or near her crib. I’m not sure what I can put on these since you really don’t put anything on a baby. These bites look raised, red, swollen, and appear to have some type of either venom or puss in them. They sort of resemble a pimple. What can I do to help clear these up?

Hi,
You could just apply some calamine lotion on it to soothe irritated skin. Also give him Benadryl liquid to counter act any possible allergic re-action.
To prevent further bites you could keep him fully covered, and also eradicate the mosquitoes by taking some house-hold measures.
IF it seems to be secondarily infected, you could apply an anti-bacterial ointment meant for children.
They will usually disappear in a week's time.
