What could this be???

For quite some time, I've had a small reddish raised bump on my lower right pubic region, not on the penis or scrotum.  There are also other smaller ones in this area, they are all pretty much covered in the pubic hair areas above my genitals.  I was concerned with the possibility of warts.  I conducted a vinegar swabbing of all visual bumps and they had NO reaction whatsoever to this.  I've conducted numerous vinegar swabs with varied amounts of vinegar and still have no color change in any of the bumps or any other areas nearby.  I'm a typical guy and I itch down there throughout the day, and have before I ever showed signs of these bumps and I'm sure itching in this region is a byproduct of wondering what these bumps are.  I've also noticed on very small whitish raised dot under the head of my penis which seems to fit under the cyst category, as it really doesnt look like the other bumps above my penis.  My question is what is going on down there?  I have had unprotected sex before so it is always a lingering concern, but do these cysts or other abnormalities happen in groups?  The bumps aren't in clusters, they are all solo areas, probably 5-6 small bumps.  Any ideas???

It sounds as though these may be molluscum warts.  These are not caused by the same virus which causes ordinary genital warts.  They are common, occur in children and adults, and despite their full name (molluscum contagiosum) hardly ever are present in family and sexual contacts.  They are listed as a possible STD, but that is rare, in my experience.  They can treated with acids or liquid nitrogen, or you can just wait them to go away, which usually takes several months.

Of course, you need a proper diagnosis, so you should get them looked at to be sure.

Take care.

After purchasing a magnafying glass I observed a dimpled section on each and every spot I've located...They seem to be whiter in the center after showering or whenever they're wet...

Genital warts don't dimple.  They may be molluscum warts, which usually are not STD'd.  Please don't try to diagnose these yourself.

Thanks.
