What heals red scar tissue/wounds fast?

I peeled scabs off because they had an infection located within them in a private area. I've been using Neosporin and Hydrocortisone cream on them but it seems to not be helping very much.. They aren't open wounds but they are very red and ugly. Some are a little bumpy, some are kinda indented, some are flat. Is there anything I can do to make them go away faster? Home remedies? Products I can pick up at the drugstore? Anything?

First of all, please do not pick on the scabs. Also keep on applying the Neosporin and hydrocortisone. If there is any pain, discharge or redness then bacterial infection has to be probed. Oral course of antibiotics may be required for which a prescription of a dermatologist is required.
