What is it

What is it

About 17 days ago I had protected (condom) with a woman.  3 Days later I was showering and shaved my penis (in a downward motion) and felt bit of irritation.  The next day I was on plane for 4 hours and began feeling a buring sensation on the skin of my testicals (left side).  Coincidentally, before the flight I urinated in the bathroom, but didn't shake it off all the urine so my underware was a bit damp.
I went to the doctor a couple of days later.  He was initially concerned but after a close, and I mean close examination he said I didn't have any STDs, but we did notice a few tiny red spots on a small vien on my sack towards the base of my penis.  He thinks I may have nicked my scrotum.  Since then I have had intermitten "firey" sensations around my testicals (on the skin) on all sides.  Mostly in the crotch (by the thigh) area.  I also noticed that my left inner thigh has raised skin, like when your are cold and your hair stands up.   It's rough and rubbing against my sack which causes irritation as well.  I cannot sleep a night because I am scared I may have some STD.  I keep checking for blisters or pimples, but there are none.  I am really driving myself nuts.  Could I have scabies or an STD?  I am trying to go back to see the doctor.  I travel a lot and have slept in hotel beds without underware - a habbit I stopped a few weeks ago.

It certainly sounds as though you do not have an STD.  It also sounds as though you are driving yourself nuts.  The sensations are almost certainly from worry.  Look, you used protection, you shaved in a way which can certainly cause irritation, you had yourself checked out and were found not to have an STD.  Time to take yes for an answer.

Take care and stop looking down there.  If you need more reassurance, see another doctor.  Then forget about it.

Ok, thank you for the relief.  However, it still itches down there and appears red.  Again, is this from my mind or do I need some type of cream.  The woman had a lot of discharge could there be some type of pH problem?
Thanks again,
