What is this small bubble?

around early july, I had some kind of bumps, they looked like normal insect bites, but whenever you get in contact, say for example rub it, it'll start itching. I only had a couple of them so I didn't think it was a big deal and went and got a tube of cortaid, the one that I rely on whenever I get itchy, and it's the best to :D. But the next day, the appearance didn't change that much. Oh yeah, it looks like a mosquito bite with a bubble. So the next day came and I had a few more, some with bubbles and some that had a very small one to none. The itching was pretty crazy so I popped the bubble and that clear stuff leaked out then I put more cortaid on it. There were a couple on my legs, then the next day there were some on my back, stomach and arm. So I start getting a little worried and I gave it a couple more days, the itching hasn't stopped and whenever the bubbles popped, they will reform another one. It started to get to me that the more I itch it the more it'll look uglier and then it'll get scarred. I then tell my parents that I should see a doctor, so they took me to the doctor and he said that these were just insect bites. But the "insect bites" lasted for almost 2 weeks. He then gave me a pink tube that is kind of watery to put on my legs, that dries up. So I get kind of happy because the doctor always heals me up, so the first thing I do is go home and put on the pink stuff and the itching did stop. After a couple days of using it, it did get a LITTLE bit smaller. It started to itch and the medicine didn't help all that much, I wasn't going to go bug him again because in a couple of days I was going to china for a vacation, expecting them to have a better knowledge of what this was. They also thought that it was an insect bite but they also provided me with things to drink, and stay away from those dirty, greasy foods and eat healthy. The medicine they gave me was also a pink watery tube! So I was a bit confused.

It's been almost 3 months now, the only thing that changed was the appearance, it got darker (like when it starts to heal) but it still itches like crazy. Almost a month now back in america, there was a new one that popped up. Hello,
If you had seen the bug, then insect bite may be possible. Take some antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin and apply some calamine lotion on the rashes. If the symptoms persist then topical or oral steroids may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.

Thanks but at the same time I kind of doubt it's scabies because I've looked up pictures and they are in patches.

I looked at those and read about it and it seems more like a bed bug bite. I remember seeing one of those bugs in that picture jump on me and when I tried to kill it, it would not die even if I squished it. It was really tiny and it jumped around to. It took me a while to kill him.

And I've tried cortaid, either it expired or stopped working.

I clicked on the link where it shows pictures of bed bug bites and I found one that looks like mine, in that image, the top bite with the bubble. Would you recommend a new treatment or just get a new tube of cortaid?

Hello,

The itching in scabies is typically more at night. It’s a highly contagious disease and can easily spread from one person to another. Permethrin 5% is the topical medicine of choice. 10% sulfur ointment in petroleum jelly applied topically is effective. A single dose of ivermectin is also effective. Please do consult a dermatologist for the same. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.

they definately do sound like sarcoptes scabiei mites. Would you know any treatments?

And I still have the brown scars, and they still itch, when do hey dissapear?

From the symptoms and picture, I would like to rule out scabies. It is an infestation of the skin with the Sarcoptes scabiei mite. It is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs.

My sincere advice would be to consult a dermatologist.
