What is wrong with my skin?

I have like a dry spot, not really dry spot, but it's a sensitive area under my lips...
when I shower it turns pink and then over night it turns dark and I try to put moisturizers, but they don't work.
http://i35.tinypic.com/2gydd09.jpg PLEASE HELP...Any idea on what it is? I remember I used a cream and it helped,
but i don't know what it was called, it had 3 things..one was cortisone or something like that...

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms, it can be seborrheic dermatitis or eczema. Seborrheic dermatitis is a common skin condition that causes flaky, dry, white to yellowish scales to form on oily areas esp. under the nose or anywhere on face. You can treat flaking and dryness with over-the-counter dandruff or medicated shampoos. Shampoo the hair vigorously and frequently (preferably daily). Active ingredients in these shampoos include salicylic acid, coal tar, zinc, resorcin, ketoconazole, or selenium.

If the symptoms persist, then it would be best to get it confirmed from a dermatologist
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.

Oh and it's just weird, because it looks like a rash and then on the day as I'm in school, it just looks like a dark circle around my face! and after putting cream, it just drys..still hard, then i wash with hot steamy water and it turns pink again until my skin dries..
