What kind of rash (torso) could this be????

I just noticed this rash a few days ago, as in thursday evening. I haven't changed my diet, have been using the same type of body soaps for a few years now, and the same with any kind of laundry detergent. I dont think its heat rash or sweat rash, but since yesterday I have been putting a hydrocortisone dream on it a few times a day. It seems be slowoly spreading. Its not itchy unless I brush up against it. Words of advice/knowledge? Thank you.

Hello,
I cannot confirm without examination but it can be contact dermatitis, sweat dermatitis or fungal infections.

Avoid using any lotions and creams for the meantime.Use a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Also use cotton clothes and change the clothes twice if there is any increased sweating.Try keeping the skin free of sweat as far as possible. If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid like dermacort. For the itching antihistaminics like Benadryl or Claritin can be taken.

If the symptoms persist then pls consult a dermatologist.

Hope it helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Kind regards.
