STD and HIV and that came back clean. General doctors and STD clinic doctor were not clear on what it could be because rashes will come and go as often as every few days or sometimes they will stay over 2 weeks period. Size and quantity changes. I have no itching
or pain or burning and my gf of 4 years have no symptoms of anything at all. I have already posted a similar question but this time i would like to know what specialist do i really need to see ? A urologist or dermatologist ? Will a regular urologist know what they would be looking at ?
history, a urologist will be the doctor to see first. He will help rule out any infections and yes, help identify if the rash or skin condition may be related to sexual
activity. I would suggest an initial assessment by a urologist so that underlying infections if present may be addressed. The urologist may refer you to a dermatologist if the rash may be more of a localized skin condition.
