What to do about week old minor penis sore?

I currently have a weird sore on the skin of my penis. I don't even know how I got it besides maybe sleeping on my stomach causing it to rub alittle forceful while resting but thats all I can think of. I have had it for around 1 week and I applyied some aloe vera gelly to it following that up with vaseline but its still there. After showering and if I don't put vaseline on it, it will scab up through out the day. I really need to know what I could use for safe application onto the penis skin( what would actually be healthy for that area of skin tissue). Also if it persist then where do I go to have it looked at (title of appropriate doctor if any)........thanks.

Hi,

I ripped my skin on the underside of my penis earlier this year.

I tried waiting and not having sex for months while putting on conventional lotion but that didn't work.

What did work was diaper rash cream that I applied every night for a month.  I used Desitin but I'm sure any diaper rash cream would work.  I essentially picked the product with the highest zinc oxide content, which I believe is the active ingredient.  Desitin had a zinc oxide content of 37%.

I didn't have sex or masturbate for a month and allowed the skin to completely heal.  During the process, the skin scabbed and peel but I continued to apply the cream till the skin color was the same as the rest.

I hope this works for you.

I will post this answer to similar questions because of its success and I noticed a lot of people are searching for a solution.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

How would you describe this sore?

Does this occur singly? Are there other lesions involved here like a palpable node in the groin?

Is this associated with any change in urinary frequency or change in urine character?

Any discharge coming from the penis?

For the mean time avoid applying anything in the area as the skin of the genitalia is very sensitive.

I will appreciate it if you can give me some answers for clarification.
