White Patch Between My Lap(leg) and Testicle

Hi,
I have this dry and big white patch between my lap(leg) and testicle. Why is that so? It is rough and causes some itchiness. When i washes it with water, it hurts and after leaving the shower on the same spot for a while, it doesn't hurt anymore. Help is greatly appreciated

Either fungus or chafing. I'd say fungus (jock itch.) Try OTC antifungal cream--Lotrimin, Lamisil--and if that doesn't work in two weeks, show a doctor.
