White Spots

by overreacting1, Dec 04, 2006 12:00AM
Hi Doctor,

I am hoping you can shed some light on my situation.  In the last little while I have noticed some white spots on the head of penis.  I say over the last little while, as I have never really examined my penis before, and in fact these could have been there forever without me noticing.

The white spots are not raised or itchy, and are only really apparent while flacid. I only noticed them when going to the bathroom a couple of weeks ago. Even when flacid, the spots return to normal colour after a few minutes when I am examining them.  When I am erect, the spots are not apparent at all.

Once again these are not raised, or itchy.  They are smooth with the rest of my skin and return to normal colour while I am examining them.  However the spots to occur the next time I go to the bathroom.

I really have no idea what they are or whether I should be concerned or not.  I know that I may be over reacting, but I just wanted you opinion.

Your help is appreciated.

Hard to say with precision, but these do indeed sound like normal parts of your penis that you never looked at before.  Next time you see a doctor, ask that this impression be confirmed.

Best.

I guess I forgot to mention this in my original post, do these symptoms sound like an STD to you?

Thanks again.

Thanks Dr,
I appreciate your feedback.  I just started really examining after having receiving fellatio from a sex worker.

If you don't think it sounds like an STD of any kind I will take your word for it and continue on.

Does me receiving fellatio from a sex worker change the situation?

Thanks

No.  It does explain why you looked more closely, though.
