White growths

Hi there,

I was wandering if you could help me with a problem I have..

It would appear over the last couple of weeks I have gained a white growth or 2 on my penis.. at the top of my forskin. I am pretty worried about this.. lately when masturbating the skin has become pretty dry around the area were these 2 growths are. Also today.. the skin has cracked and left what looks like a scar in the forskin now..They don't itch, nor do they hurt but they must be something right.. I have searched and searched online but I can't seam to find an answer to my problem.

Hi there,

Thankyou ever so much for the reply... it means allot.

I am going to try what you have suggested and see the outcome in a week or so, if not I guess I am going to have to bite the bullet and go to a dermatologist. I'll keep you posted :)

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be folliculitis, contact dermatitis, rash due to friction rub with clothes, dermatitis (atopic, contact, allergic),excessive sweating causing sweat dermatitis or balanitis (due to an underlying infection (bacterial and fungal as well as other organisms) .Even genital warts cannot be ruled out as it is spread through direct skin-to-skin contact during oral, genital, or anal sex with an infected partner.

You may try calamine lotion on the rash. You should also maintain hygiene and try to keep the area clean and dry, wear loose-fitting cotton clothing. Also use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. You can also use a barrier cream with zinc oxide paste or calamine lotion or a mild steroid cream like Dermacort on the rash.
If the lumps persist then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
