White spots on penis

I've noticed some time ago that there were two white, dry, circles right below the head of my penis.  They are about a cm around, but lately it seems to be getting more serious because there are about 5 or 6 of the circles on my penis now.  They don't hurt, and they look like white dry skin spots.  Any idea on what it is?

I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be due to pityriasis versicolor. It is a common skin infection caused by the yeast Malassezia furfur. This skin disease commonly affects adolescents and young adults, especially in warm and humid climates.

Most cases of fungal infections respond to over-the-counter products, which contain any of several basic ingredients: miconazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine,ketaconazole and clotrimazole.You can consult a pharmacist and get any cream or lotion containing these ingredients. Some of them are Lamisil, Monistat derm, Mycelex, and Nizoral.If the symptoms persist then pls consult a dermatologist.
