White spots on skin

I don't even know how to describe this. Quite some time ago, I noticed a round, flat, white spot on the outside of my calf.  Doesn't hurt or itch.  Almost like no skin pigment.  Showed it to my Doc who didn't seem concerned.  Saw a Dermatologist for something else and she didn't know what it is either but measured and photographed it.  It is probably a little smaller than a dime.  Recently, I noticed a similar white spot on my inner arm about the size of a pencil eraser, no pain, itching, etc.  any ideas?  Dermatologist said they could do a biopsy but don't know if I want or need to do that.
I am 63 and already having thin skin and easy bleeding issues on my arms.  I do not take blood thinners.

Thank you for the response.  Those ate the only spots I see. The one on my leg has been there a long time.  When I show the doctors the red spots on my arms, they tell me it is just thinning skin that happens with age.  I am 63 and didn't expect this for a while. I do take medications, latest being Omeprazole and now new ones for stomach problems I am having. Due to chronic dry mouth and throat, have had two biopsies for Sjorgens, negative.  Maybe I will have them scrape or biopsy it next time I go in.
Thank you

Hi there,
Without a complete clinical evaluation it is difficult to detect the exact cause of your symptoms. White spots on skin can be seen in number of conditions like vitiligo, tinea versicolor, eczema, psoriasis, pityriasis etc.Tinea infections are usually common on back, face and neck.Humidity, excessive sweating and a weak immune system makes  a person prone for fungal infections. Vitiligo commonly occurs on the face, fingers, backs of the hands, elbows, knees, shins and feet and is an autoimmune disorder. A clinical examination and investigations like Woods lamp examination and skin biopsy may be needed for correct diagnosis. You definitely need to discuss with your doctor about your easy bleeding issues before skin biopsy. Do keep me posted.
Best of luck and regards!
