Will NAIR hair removal cream help with controling minor pimples and blemishes?

Hey, just a quick question.
I get the few odd pimples every week or so and i HATE them. And i am bad for popping them, im not going to lie. So 2 things im wondering.
1. Will nair hair removal cream help with clearing and preventing pimples?
I mean, if you think about it...it makes perfect sense in my mind that it would. Because a pimple is a infected hair follicle or something and the oil get trapped..?
So if you don't have hair that can block the oil in..you wouldn't get pimples.
and 2.How can i dramatically reduce redness of a pimple FAST at home?
