About a month and a half ago i got tiny small bumps at the corner of my mouth..ive never had that before but i just kinda shook it off..yesterday the bumps came back and now im scared because it was brought to my attention that it could be herpes..ive been wit my bf for 3 yrs and he never had it..i have had minor sores in my mouth but i never cared too much about it cuz they were small..after looking online i saw herpe blister pictures and they look similar to mine as well as yeast infection by the mouth pics too..what could it be?

Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be due to hair follicles or angular stomatitis/angular cheilitis.Herpes presents as painful blisters and typically on the lips and not around it.

Most common causes are iron deficiency anemia, or vitamin B deficiencies. They can also be caused by allergies and infections.Try taking some iron supplements and multivitamins for some days and see if the sumptoms persist. Also apply antibiotic cream like Neosporin or Mupirocin on the bumps and see if they persist.

If the symptoms persist then pls get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
I hope that helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have ant additional doubts.Kind regards.

The herpes you talk of are cold sores.Of course an angular stomatitis may be related to monilia. These can be treated easily.Deficiency of vitamins are sometimes the cause.
