Worried about a risky hand contact.

Hello everybody, today, I saw my friend and we greeted each other. We shook hands, but to my dismay, I saw a large part of his index finger on the hand that i shooked with skin peeled. Should i be worried because I've gone in contact with my hand with his hand that has peeled skin. There isn't any cuts or discoloration at all, but, I'm just worried. Or do you think I'm just getting paranoid? Please help. Do you think I may have come in contact with a risk while i shook his hand? Please help. Thanks
