Worried to Death

by 2months20days, Jun 19, 2006 12:00AM
Hello,

I had unprotected oral sex(received oral sex but did not go down on her) with a girl over a month back. Now I notice a small bump on my left testical which seems like many other bumps with hair follices in them, but this one dosent have hair follicle in it.

Iam also beginning to notice very very small bumps(2 0r 3 seperated from each other and at different locaions far away from each other on the penis) with white heads. But the are very small and dont look like any warts, like the pics i have seen on the internet.

But the only thing that is worrying me is the bump on my left testical, the doc said it dosent look like a wart but he also added that it may be one and has refered me to a dermotologist,With whom i have an appointment after a month.

I will surely go crazy in this one month, I request you guide and help me out.

Is it HPV that I have and if it is diagnoised as HPV what are the treatment options and also read in this article http://www.metrokc.gov/health/apu/std/hpv_qf.htm that most infections go away by themselves, without causing any symptoms.

does it mean that even if I have HPV i can have a noraml life as in marry and have kids??

hopng for an answer. plz help

I don;t think you have anything at all.  The bumps you describe are small cysts, which are common on the penis and scrotum and mean nothing.  You should leave them alone so as not to confuse the issue, and then show them to a doctor who can tell you ignore and forget about them.  They were probably there before, but your anxiety made you look more closely.  You're fine.

By the way, HPV--which I think you don;t have--does none of the nasty things you apparently are afraid it does.

Best.

Very very unlikely.  Plus, what you have doesn't sound like HPV.
