Worsening Bug Bite

I got bit by a small black bug ( found it in my sock after a long day at work) and it itches like the dickens! I have been keeping a band-aid on them and using antibiotic cream, but after three days it has gone from looking like the first photo to the second photo. Anyone have any clue why or what should be done about it? I'm getting pretty worried.

For such bites, you may take oral antihistaminics like benadryl or zyrtec. Also apply calamine lotion as it has a soothing effect on the skin. You can apply a mild steroid cream and compresses with cool water or Burrow’s solution (available without prescription).
If the symptoms are severe then get an evaluation done from a dermatologist.

You defiantley need to go get that checked out.  Go to the doctors ASAP.
