Yeast infection rash

Dr. Doctor:
I'll try to make this brief as it is a follow up question to my Feb. 28th question. I was reading the forum on sexual transmission and safe sex. Based on the Doctor's follow up answers to a question on recurrent yeast infections in that forum, Can I assume that a yeast infection rash, which is what my wife has been diagnosed with by her gynocologist yesterday is not a sympton of posible initial HIV infection? She has a vaginal yeast infection which she has had infrequently, but this time it's also a skin yeast infection. A lot of web sites indicate that recurrent skin yeast infections or vaginal yeast infections that are not responding to treatment might be an early sign of HIV infection. In the sexual transmission forum, the Dr. indicated that that is old and outdated information. Can I feel safe then in assuming that if the skin yeast infection is her only symptom, this is definitely not one of the symptoms that arises one or two weeks from a possible HIV infection exposure when the body is flooded with virus? Her gynocologist is extremely experienced and knew what the rash was immediately and she does fit the body type of a person prone to getting the skin yeast infections, (overweight, excessive sweating) although this is the first time it has resulted in a rash. The timing of her rash with my sexual exploit has just freaked my out. These are the last questions I will post. Do I have anything to worry about based on the diagnosis of a yeast infection rash? A yeast infection in a woman is just a yeast infection, not an early sign of HIV. As I mentioned in my last answer, I'm a little skeptical that this is really yeast, but my answer would be the same even if it is. Time to relax and move on, my friend. Also, to consider avoiding escorts and random fear-mongering websites.

Don't you think your question should be focused more around if your wife may have something to worry about. Yeast or not, the safest thing to do would be to be honest w/ your wife so that both you and she can get tested due to your adultery, infidelity and faithlessness.
