Yellow skin around my mouth

Hi, I have had this for way over a year now.

It is symetrical all the way round my mouth about 2 inches out both sides form my mouth, all around my chin, up to the bottom of my nose.

Doctors said he doesnt know, and never got back to me.

I  very rarely eat carrots, have stopped eating ketchup, i drink 5 pints of  water a day now, to flush my system out. I have A-Z vitamins (started a  month ago) and nothing is working.

I cant use fake tan, as it builds up on my yellow skin and makes it even more darker, foundation does the same.

It gets worse when  I sweat, my underarms also get it.

The sun does not do anything, good or bad.

I just dont go out any more, because it so  horrible,

I  am grateful for everything in  life, but this just seems to  get me down and I cant help it.

All my blood tests come back fine (thank God) but also means there is nothing that I can put it on.

Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be eczema or some fungal infection. To confirm the diagnosis I suggest you to get a KOH examination and fungal culture of the skin scrapings done. A biopsy skin can also help in cliniching diagnosis. Treatment is different for both. While it is antifungals for the fungal infection, it is steroids and antihistaminics for the eczema.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. Treatment can be started only when the diagnosis is confirmed. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hello,
The only possibility that is coming to my mind is of chromhidrosis. It is characterized by the secretion of colored sweat and can be due to increased numbers of lipofuscin pigments in the secretory apocrine cells. Wood lamp examination and histopathological examination of the skin biopsy specimens need to be done. My sincere advice is to consult a dermatologist.
