Yellow spots on lips

Hi I am a gay male 43 years old with a history of rosacea among other delights, I also have a problem with stomach acid and was prescribed Zoton for this which is a Lansoprazole based drug i took this for about a year, one of the side affects is reported as being a "sore mouth", what i got after a year was a condition where my lips were permanently sore and cracking and then i got yellow spots filled with puss that were about 2mm diamter, i stopped taking the medicine about 3 months ago and my lips have stopped cracking but the spots are still coming and have to b squeezed to get rid of but they keep returning any ideas?

The sore lips went on for months but stopped within a few days of me ceasing the Zoton tablets, Im wondering if the drug has damaged them and they need further treatment or if my immune system is low.

Sore lips aren't a sign of a lowered immune system.  Also, no drug I know of can damage lips, certainly not after it's stopped.  My advice stays the same--get them looked at, so you can find out for sure and not worry.

There are, to my knowledge, no spots which "have be squeezed" to be gotten rid of.  You may want to squeeze the spots, but you don't have to, and if you do, you will delay their disappearance and make it harder for anyone who examines you to tell what's going on.  I don't know of any connection between Lanosoprazole and lip spots.  Perhaps they're sebaceous glands that are somehow more prominent or to which you're paying more attention.   I advise you to leave them alone and let a dermatologist take a look.

Best.
