Thanks for posting your query.
HPV 16 is a high risk HPV. HPV types 16 and 18, are responsible for the majority of HPV-caused cancers. Hence if HPV 16 has been identified in the anal growth then you need an immediate dermatologist referral. It is the biggest risk factor for anal cancer.
