abnormal itching in anal region?

I've always felt that I had a sensitive anus and that I sweated/itched more because I am hairy there.  But in the last year I felt that on a very regular basis (once a month or so) I was even more itchy.

Looking back, I realized that this coincided with a one night sexual encounter I had with a girl that I guess could be considered high risk.  There was no anal activity, is it possible they are related?

Today i itched and because I'm somewhat paranoid I thought I'd take a look and see what was up.  this is the picture i took (contrast was adjusted): http://img219.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc07426cropbn6.jpg
and now i am very concerned.   Could this just be irritation from sweating/wiping?  I went dancing for new years last night.


I've also had some unusual red spots appear around my mouth in the same time period.  No itching or burning, they never opened into sores or anything and with time the redness subsided a little bit, but 6 months later it still appears red and has not gone away completely. A couple weeks ago a new red spot appeared (each time it's been after using my old electric beard trimmer).   The redness has gone down but it is still visible.  here are the pictures from when it first started. Corner of my lower lip.

could it be related to the beard trimmer? or are could both be symptoms of something else?

perhaps it's just paranoia, but i'm concerned.

Your perianal area looks quite red and irritated.  This is far more likely to be from rubbing than from sex.  I suggest you treat the area gently and apply a bland moisturizer (like vaseline).  If that doesn't help it heal, a doctor can prescribe something.  But anal irritation is quite common.

There is an outside chance the rash is yeast (which, if true, would not necessarily have anything to do with your sexual encounter either, as most yeast infections come from our own GI tracts.)

I can't tell what the lip spots are, but can't see any direct connection with the anal problem.  If that persists, you'll want to show that to a doctor too.

so for about 3 months now i have had a rash around my anus. it also looks like it has line of red on the rash. it is a shape of a heart around my anus. it has specks of blood on the toilet paper when i whipe. it looks like it is red and is painful if urine gets on it. my anus bleeds when i need to go poop and tares a little in the crack area.

today i tried to rub it very well in the bath tub so maybe dead skin would come off of it because i didnt kno what to do. and i also used a blow dryer to try to dry it after i put alchol on it, but it just kept bleeding and has puss on it as well. now it is painful and is wet all the time.. and i tried a month ago to use baby powder on it to maybe dry it out. but it didnt work.

i dont know what it is. and i am afraid to go to the doctors to get a check up. please help me find out what this is.
