abrasion on penis

I have an abrasion on my penis in the area that is circumsized, however on one part, a piece of excess skin is left.   After sexual intercourse I noticed a red irritation in that area and now a bit of swelling.  I have been treating it with peroxide and neo-sporin ointment.  Is there anything else I should be doing?

No.  It does sound like an abrasion.  You should do what you're doing and it should be fine.  Use lubrication to minimize friction in future.
