accutane and hair loss

by lynn1878, Feb 04, 2009 03:18PM
Hi, I am 31 years and finished my cycle of accutane in June 08.  The dry skin has gotten better and my lips are no longer chapped but I have recently been experiencing hairloss.  It started somewhere around Nov. and continues to get worse.  I am very worried, especially since I am a female.  Whenever I brush or wash my hair it comes out even more.  Even when  I run my fingers through my hair, many strands come out.  I have never seen hair on my pillow and lately I have.  When it first started I began taking a multi vitamin, but then I stopped in case I still had a lot of Vit A in my system.  Just this week I started taking Biotin pills.  I am scared that I am going to go bald or have bald spots.  People don't really notice yet, but I do.  Especially when my hair is wet.  I noticed many people say it doesn't grow back.  What do you think or recommend?
