accutane just did not do anything to me

I have gone through two months of accutane and so far nothing has happened, its as if im not taking anything at all, im just wondering if this is normal, because most people see the side effects like dry lips pretty soon dont they?

Hi. You should expect to see an improvement in your skin after about 12 weeks.
It is very common to experience dry lips, over 90% of patients report this. Such side effects are dose related so you may not get them if you are taking a particularly low dose such as 10-20mg per day. Low doses are indicated if the patient has liver or kidney problems. The standard dose is 0.5 to 1mg per day X kg of bodyweight. So if, for example, you weigh 60kg your recommended dose will be between 30 and 60mg per day.
Was your medicine prescribed by a dermatologist? Some people may the mistake of buying Accutane online. These may be placeboes or low quality tablets, which contain less Isotretinoin than they state.
