acne scars and ichy face

i had suffered from typhoid a year and a half ago and due to the medicines i had got acne on my face.i consulted a doctor but i don't really believe in using products on my face.i have pimples and red spots on my cheeks which are not going away from my face and they redden in sunlight even when i apply sun screen. i want to get rid of these red spots. my skin is very sensitive, dry around the edges of the face. i would like to know only home remedies. i have ichy skin which becomes red after doing so.
Can my face become flawless as it was before?

Acne is due to an overactivity and plugging of the oil glands. Just keep you face clean by washing with a mild soap atleast twice a day.Pat it dry and do not rub it.Avoid picking or pressing the acne.You can also use Benzoyl peroxide 5% lotion or gel once at bedtime. An amount of lotion the size of a pea should be enough to cover most of your face. If your skin becomes red or peels, you are using too much of the medicine or applying it too often.
Also use a good non perfumed hypoallergenic sun screen for sensitive skin atleast 30 minutes prior to going out in the sun.
