acne scars treatment course

acne scars treatment course

Hi,
My dermatologist recommended plasma injection, then q switched and fractional laser alternatively for my acne scars.
How much success will I get from this treatment course and how much pain do I have to endure during this treatment's sessions?
BTW, I've been using the dermaroller 1.5 for a month and a half followed by vitamin C capsules from The Body Shop / Bio Hydrating cream (15 PHA) from Neo Strata and I've noticed some considerable improvement, about 50% percent , regarding the look and feel of my skin and acne scars.

Thank You,

Hello,
I agree with your dermatologist that q switched and fractional laser treatment is one of the best treatment methods for scar reduction and hyperpigmented skin. Multiple sittings are needed and some redness, erythema and burning are expected after the treatment.

I suggest you to discuss this procedure in detail with your dermatologist and then go for this procedure.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Thanks Doctor.
Actually, I've decided to go on with my dermaroller treatment. I've been using it for a month and a half now. First use it on my face for about 15 minutes, then apply vitamin c cream or neostrata bio hydrating cream 15 PHA ( now I'm considering using Murad's Sun Undone kit). I've seen really good results so far. The laser really scared me away because I've once read that it melt the face's nerves, and fractional laser and the dermaroller have about the same effect on the skin.
Thanks again for your advice.
