itched and hurt for days, and now is still swollen a little but very very dry- and like sandpaper to touch. It's so horrible- i never had dry skin- except on the hands. Nothing i've tried helps the dry sandpaper feeling. There's peeling also- especially on my neck. The small red bumps are still there also:(
It's been almost a week- what has happened? Why do i have this after the allergy reaction? What can i do to help it?
i have oily/combination skin- normally- but now it's so so dry and swollen and like sandpaper- even around my nose where i's normally oily- it's so changed. It's so upsetting.
Thank you for any advice and thank you for reading.

You need to wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. Wash all your clothes and linen etc in savlon, chlorhexidine solution and sun - dry them preferably.
Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions and see if it helps. You could take some oral antihistamine medications like cetrizine or loratadine. You need to maintain a good personal hygiene .
Anti-itch drugs, often antihistamines like loratadine or cetrizine, may reduce the itch during a flare up of eczema, and the reduced scratching in turn reduces damage and irritation to the skin.
It would be advisable to consult a skin specialist for your symptoms and a proper clinical examination. You might need injectables if your symptoms are persistent.
