anal wart transmission by hand

by shane76, Jun 08, 2009 11:23PM
Hi, I know there are different theories on this but I would like your opinion on the probabililty of transmission.  I have a genital wart at the top of my butt crack , basically in the V part.  One day I touched it several times to see if it was still there and then accidentally held hands with my 3 yr old niece.  I am worried about the possibility of her transmitting this virus.  Thanks for any help on this,, it is worrying me to think i could give this to her.
thanks

Transmission very doubtful.  Consider that if you could spread it that way, wouldn't you have warts everywhere your hand touches your own body?

Best.
