armpit rash???

I have skin colored bumps under my left armpit only in an outline of the backside of the armpit to directly underneath. It has not spread and i was on Follical medicene but that did nothing to clear up the rash. The bumps if squeezed are almost pimple like at times and at other times not? I know i should see a Dermo but i don't have insurance right now so i'm looking for any possible suggestions on what this could be thanks in advance.

In addition this problem first sprang up after being in an armsling where i was immobilized for 6 weeks at about the 5th week the problem sprang up. Also i have not used any different soaps or deoderants that would have brought about an irritation

It is impossible to diagnose skin conditions without actually able to examine the patient. There can be many causes for underarm rash e.g. dermatitis (atopic, contact, allergic), heat rash, excessive sweating, folliculitis, boils, scabies, psoriasis, some infection leading to enlargement of axillary lymph nodes.

You may try an over-the-counter antifungal cream like 1% clotrimazole. You should also maintain hygiene, use an antibacterial soap and try to keep the area clean and dry, wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and avoid deodorant / cosmetics.

If you don’t get some relief in a few days time, I suggest that you consult a dermatologist who can determine the cause and prescribe appropriate treatment for it.
