Hi,
It seems like you have an infection of the skin by the yeast-like fungus Candida albicans. This type prefers warm moist places. So it is usually found on inner thigh area and surrounding structures especially in hot weather when we sweat a lot. Also common in obese individuals.
The symptoms are itchy, purple patches on the skin that resemble eczema. The itching in these patches is highest near the edge. Some amount of scaling is also present.
It responds well to OTC anti-fungal medication available as powder or cream.
Prevention includes keeping area clean and dry.
