Hi,

The moustache or beard forms its own stage in the development of facial hair in adolescent males. However, this will also depend on your genetic heritage or environment.  It is also possible that your hormones play a role. You may need to grow your beard unattended for about 4 weeks then go to a barber and let him clean it up. This way your barber is setting the pattern by providing the lines and the length of the beard hairs.  It is important  to wash and moisturize to prevent itching and dry skin.

Take care and regards.
