benzamycin caused pits and wrinkles!

Hi, I have been using benzamycin cream for a week and a half (anywhere from once to twice a day). All was fine until one morning I woke up with scaly skin, that was rough and had a rash. I also noticed that it looked wrinkly and looked like there were pits in my skin. The dermatologist told me to stop the benzamycin and gave me Desonide ointment. After a week and two days with the Desonide, the scaliness and rash went away but the wrinkly look and even worse, the pits in my skin remain. Because I'm not a doctor so I don't know if these pits are pore locations that are larger then normal as a bad reaction from the benzamycin or if they are actual pits. Either way, I'm very concerned and don't know what to do. My skin does not feel dry at all and have begun using Neutrogena oil-free moisturizer. Still no change. What is going on and what do I do?
