black spot on HEAD of my pennis?

On the Glans at the HEAD area there is this area of skin that is beginning and getting darker as time goes. This started like 6 months ago a small weird BROWN-semi black spot on my head “penis”.  My penis (the head) is pink but this dime-sized spot is black so it is completely noticeable. Even if its erected still noticeable. It is right on the head. I don’t know what happen for some weird reason. I was worried it could be an STD?

I need your advise thanks!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi

This does not sound like an STD. This may be a hyperpigmented area, much like a mole. I suggest that you have this assessed by your dermatologist so that the cause may be ascertained. Moles in the genitals may require further assessment. In the absence of previous injury or trauma to the area, this may not be something that requires immediate intervention. However, a baseline consult may be necessary especially if several moles in other parts of the body are noted.
