bleeding belly button

well this question is about my brother he has been having trouble with his belly button, he's very scared, well as you know sometimes lint gets stuck on mens stomach, well belly button,  because of their hair so one day he was taking it out and it just started bleeding, alot like if it was his nose bleding i thought he probably poked it but now its like its bleeding constantly and he says it doesnt hurt but it bleeds a lot could you help me with this or could you tell me what to do or waht he can put on it...thank you very much

Bleeding from the belly button could be simply because of injury as you rightly said due to too much poking. It could also be due to infection in that area. I would suggest you to schedule an appointment with a doctor as soon as possible. It will be easily sorted out.
