This may be due to a localized bacterial infection,dishydrotic eczema,an HSV type 1 infection, an allergic reaction. I suggest you seek consult with your primary physician since you may need oral antibiotics for your condition. Apply a cool compress over the areas to help relieve the pain.Do not pick on them and use a mild bland soap to wash your hands.
