blisters on my inner thighs and waist

ive been suffering from eczema for few years but now i have started having these small boils on my inner thighs and waist area ...they turn black in few days like blood clot wounds and they are extremely itchy ...i have not visited a doctor for this specific new development but i have been using Vaseline to calm down my dryness....i want to know is this the continuation of eczema or something new plus is it serious and what should i do ???

Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but scabies has to be ruled out. It is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs.
My sincere advice would be to consult a dermatologist.

thanks a lot for taking ur time out and replying out ..i went to a dermatologist today and he diagnosed it as scabies ...he didnt scrap anything or took any samples he just had a look and said that its scabies .. he gave me a cream which i am to apply from head till toe for 12 hours ... what should i do ...?

Hello,

Treatment of scabies is specific and consists of topical medicines like permethrin, malathion, lindane and tea tree oil and oral medicine like ivermectin. It is highly contagious and is transmissible from daily household articles also and so they may also require the treatment. The treatment that your dermatologist has advised i.ee permethrin cream is to be applied for 12 hrs. You can apply the cream at night and leave it overnight for effect.
