One thing to consider is a herpetic whitlow, fungal infections of the nails , a vascular insufficiency.
I suggest you have this assessed by your primary physician.The purplish discoloration of the digits may need further evaluation to exclude any vascular involvement.
Have you injured your fingers before? Any instance that you pressed on your arm or wrist? Any exposure to cold?
