blisters

About 3 weeks ago I noticed a single blister on the inside of my buttocks near my vagina on the right side. It began healing within a couple days. 5 days later 2 blisters appeared on the left side about 1/4" apart. Those also healed within about a week. Today I noticed 2 small blisters near one of the old spots, close together. They don't hurt and the skin around them is normal. I am entering a new relationship and am worried about it. Sadly I don't have insurance.

If it is a viral rash, could it be contagious?

Hello,
For these blisters viral rashes and if you are sexually active then herpes sores should be ruled out. Most individuals have no or only minimal signs or symptoms from HSV-1 or HSV-2 infection. When signs do occur, they typically appear as one or more blisters on or around the genitals or rectum. The blisters break, leaving tender ulcers (sores) that may take two to four weeks to heal the first time they occur. Typically, another outbreak can appear weeks or months after the first, but it almost always is less severe and shorter than the first outbreak.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
